Request basement waterproofing help
If water is actively coming in or the sump has failed, call. For cracks, damp walls, bracing and window wells, send a request and a local company will call you back.
Before you call
It helps to have:
- Your address, so the right local company gets your request
- Where the water shows up: a corner, along a wall, through a crack, through the floor or at a window
- When it happens: during snowmelt, after heavy rain, or all the time
- Your foundation type if you know it: poured concrete, block, or stone
- Whether you have a sump pump, and whether the basement is finished
Water rising in the basement? Don't walk through standing water if outlets, cords or appliances near the floor could be live. Shut power to the basement at the panel only if you can reach it while standing somewhere dry.
